When I mentioned I listened to mostly classical and the occassional jazz tracks, as well as some acoustic guitar-type tracks, they recommended Denon. I can understand why! They provide good detail and seperation between instruments, and all cymbal hits are crisp and pronounced. In fact I think it’s with tuned percussion these really shine, Liszt sounds brilliant. Some might say these are ‘light on bass’, but anybody with an acquired musical taste and loathing towards unarticulated, talentless dance and drum and bass artists will get on just fine with these.
